Italian post-punk/death-rock Horror Vacui five piece return to the UK with a headline show at the Loco Klub, Bristol on Friday 15th August.
Supports to be announced soon
Entry 18+
Horror Vacui blends early ’80s goth with post-punk in a horror-tinged sound. Their name reflects a signature style built on tight, guitar-driven songs, sing-along hooks and vocal lines many of which have become modern goth anthems as for “In Darkness You Will Feel Alright”. Fans of Corpus Delicti, Sisters of Mercy, Christian Death and Killing Joke will find familiar ground, but their catalog reaches far beyond nostalgia. Their lyrics explore identity, darkness, society and the human psyche with a raw, punk-rooted urgency that also defines their live presence and political ethos.
The Loco Klub is an underground arts, music, and theatre venue located beneath Bristol Temple Meads, known for its atmospheric tunnels and Victorian-style spaces in the former Ash Pits of Brunel's original station. It offers a unique setting for a diverse range of events, including immersive theatre, club nights, and live music. The venue has a standing capacity of approximately 300-400 people.
