Gotobeat to happy to once again be teaming up with The Croft, Bristol to present gumdrop's first hometown headline show on Saturday 21st March.

Originally formed in Southampton, Bristol-based gumdrop create post-punk and shoegaze inspired sounds their own way. You’ll find an electrifying blend of fuzzy, stargazing guitars, ice cold bass lines and industrial, synthesised melodies, all guided by punching drum beats.

Consisting of four members, the band have previously supported the likes of Heavy Lungs, Lumer, HAAL, Spilt, and Alien Chicks, also having played Wanderlust Festival in 2024.

They are bound to be loud, so be sure to bring your earplugs and some comfy (mosh-ready) shoes..

The Croft
The Croft is a lively late-night venue with exposed brick walls, cask beers, and regular music nights in the heart of Stokes Croft. It is a pub which provides a meeting place for people to drink, eat and socialise. The Croft regularly hosts local bands and DJs, as well as comedy and storytelling events. The venue has two separate live rooms. The main room has a capacity of 150. Formerly The Crofters' Rights, this iconic venue reopened in 2025 under its original name, following a campaign from the 'Own Our Venues' initiative. The lovingly revamped Croft will hold 140 sweaty gig-goers with a focus on live music - as well as carefully curated clubnights.
