Gotobeat are excited to present Little Egret, Jennifer Coy and Zarina Kazi live at Old Queens Head on August 13th.

Little Egret

Little Egret (it's a type of bird) are a London-based indie rock band. Landing in 2023, they've played some of London's finest venues including Colours Hoxton, 93 Feet East, and the Servant Jazz Quarters. Their debut single The Balance released early 2024, followed by the offbeat Searching for Mittens, and the space-flavoured Britpop tune Holes in the Floor. Their latest single, the 80s-flavoured retro sparkler Far, received wide airplay on BBC Merseyside. Their live shows are energetic, memorable, and always fun.

Jennifer Coy

Jennifer Coy is an English singer/songwriter who performs a fusion of Jazz, Pop and Neo-Soul to create her unique sound. Her deep, jazzy tinged vocals are a beautiful combination of artists who influence her from Sarah Vaughan to Olivia Dean, and Celeste. Her velvet-voiced storytelling is classic yet fresh, drawing the listener in. She has featured on Spotify's New Music Friday playlist and sung live for BBC Radio Bristol. She is currently working hard on new material to record in the studio.

Zarina Kazi

As a British Pakistani woman, Zarina often found herself navigating complex cultural crossroads. In moments where language and identity fell short, music became her compass — a raw, expressive force through which she voiced her fears, dreams, and quiet triumphs. It led her not just to others, but back to herself. Her love for music began at home, deeply rooted in the influence of her grandparents, who were passionate music lovers. Their legacy lives on in Zarina’s artistry, which blends generational reverence with a distinctly modern sound. Influenced by artists like Amy Winehouse, Adele, Billie Eilish, and Jorja Smith, Zarina creates music that dwells in the spaces between — between joy and sorrow, strength and vulnerability, tradition and reinvention. Her sound is as much about emotion as expression — a lyrical compass for those finding their way back to themselves.

Office Job

Office Job are a South London-band, based between Italy and the UK. They combine nostalgic, singalong songwriting with country-inflected guitars and inventive rhythms.
