Gotobeat Festival is back for it's third year. This year we're sees us return to Signature Brew, London for an event that is a celebration of diversity in independent live music with a wide range of genres from across the UK scene.
Our first wave of acts features the likes of Grandmas House, Hana Lili and Hunnybuzz with more to be announced soon.
Early Bird tickets are on sale now, let's make this one to remember!
Grandmas House is a Bristol-based, queer punk trio (now a four-piece with the addition of Polly on guitar in 2024) consisting of Yasmin Berndt (vocals, guitar), Poppy Dodgson (vocals, drums), and Zoë Zinsmeister (bass). Known for their fast and raucous guitar riffs, thumping bass lines, and aggressive drums, they combine post-punk with surfy melodies, creating a sound that grabs you by the throat. Comparisons have been drawn to artists like The Raincoats, Motörhead, Courtney Barnett, and The Slits. They explore themes of anti-establishment and anti-patriarchy ideals, as well as queer love. Recently, Grandmas House has been promoting their upcoming EP, "Anything For You," set to be released on April 11th. They released a new single "Slaughterhouse" in January 2025, and "Haunt Me" in March 2025.
Hana Lili is a Welsh singer-songwriter known for her blend of indie-pop and alt-rock music, often described as an introspective mix of indie and folk-pop, with vocals reminiscent of Billie Eilish and Natalie Imbruglia. She began her career as a voice actress and started writing songs at 14. Hana gained recognition after her music was featured on *Love Island* and for supporting Coldplay on their Cardiff tour in 2023. In January 2025, Hana Lili signed with Nettwerk Music Group. She has released two EPs, "Flowers Die In The Summer" and "Existential". She has also released singles like "Iconic" and "Bedroom Floor" in 2024. Lili is a first-language Welsh speaker and performs in both English and Welsh. In early 2025, she expressed excitement about playing at The Great Escape 2024.
HUNNY BUZZ is a Bristol-based indie-pop band known for blending melancholic melodies with upbeat energy. Frontwoman Lyd Read's lyrics often explore themes of modern love and personal struggles, delivered with a mix of vulnerability and raw emotion. Their sound, influenced by bands like Wolf Alice, Beach Bunny, Taylor Swift and Blondie combines indie-pop, surf-rock rhythms, and elements of alt-rock. In early 2025, they released the single "Maisy" from their EP, Growing Pains, and "Nice Guy" from their upcoming EP Pulling Roots. They have played at festivals like 2000trees, TRUCK, and Dot to Dot and are scheduled to perform at 2000trees in July 2025.
