GoldFish is an electronic duo from Cape Town, South Africa, comprised of Dominic Peters and David Poole, who now reside in San Diego, California. They are known for their unique blend of dance music with elements of house, pop, jazz, and African music, often incorporating live instruments such as double bass, saxophones, keyboards, flute, and vocals alongside samplers, effects, and synthesizers. The duo, who met while studying jazz, have developed a distinctive live show that has earned them a reputation for "re-inventing the DJ" through their innovative combination of live instrumentation and electronic production. GoldFish released their sixth album, *If Summer Was A Sound*, on September 29, 2023.
