Eleni Foureira (geboren op 7 maart 1987 in Fier, Albanië) is een popzangeres uit de Balkanregio. Vanaf het begin van haar carrière in Griekenland werd zij door zowel de media als de fans gekroond tot de Popkoningin van de Griekse muziekscene. De releases van Foureira bereiken snel de top van de nationale airplay-, fysieke en digitale hitlijsten, terwijl ze als headliner optreedt op talrijke uitverkochte concerten en evenementen.

In 2018 kondigden CyBC en Panik Records aan dat Eleni Foureira Cyprus zou vertegenwoordigen op het Eurovisie Songfestival 2018 met het nummer “Fuego”. Ze triomfeerde vanaf het moment dat ze het Eurovisiepodium betrad en klom snel naar de top van de deelnemerslijst, waarbij ze de hoogste televotingscore voor haar halve finaleoptreden behaalde.

Daarnaast werd Foureira door de commentatoren van het Eurovisie Songfestival 2018 bekroond met de Marcel Bezençon Artistic Award, uitgereikt voor de beste artistieke performance. Eleni Foureira (born 7 March 1987 in Fier, Albania) is a pop singer in the Balkan territory. In 2018, CyBC and Panik Records announced Eleni Foureira to represent Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, with the song “Fuego”.
