Gotobeat presents Flo Gallop live at The Grace Islington on Tuesday, 2nd June.
Flo Gallop is v clumsy, v chaotic but full of glittery energy!!! & absolutely not playing it cool (ever).
Turning her messy life moments into sassy, chatty, witty pop songs, she makes music you’ll be screaming the words to before the first chorus ends. She’s very much a 00s kid raised on CD players, first gen ipods, pop magazines and her New Year’s resolution was ‘to be less nostalgic’
She’s been named as one of Spotify’s Top 50 Fresh Finds artists and one to watch by BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing.
Whether she’s crashing red carpets or writing songs @ing her ex boyfriends (sorry x), Flo Gallop is the popstar best mate you didn’t know you needed. Come for the drama, stay for the choruses and yes, Alison Hammond really does approve.
Flo Wilkes is a 19-year-old London-based singer-songwriter known for blending indie-pop and rock with heartfelt lyrics and dynamic performances. She developed her distinctive sound, which combines intimate storytelling with powerful instrumentals, having been a frontwoman since the age of nine. Her music has been described as "indie rock and roll in the shoes of pop," drawing inspiration from artists like Queen, Sabrina Carpenter, and CIL. In her latest endeavors, Wilkes released her single "Henry" in March 2026, which fuses bold instrumentation with tongue-in-cheek lyricism about a bad partner. The track, co-written with Georgia Lowe and Archer Levy, is accompanied by a visually striking music video and received attention from BBC Radio 1. This follows her introspective single "Sober," which also caught the attention of BBC Radio 1, and "Don't Make Me Move On" (released in December 2023). Flo Wilkes and her band also won the 2025 Isle of Wight competition. She is known for her strong live reputation, with upcoming shows and an EP on the horizon. Wilkes, who is also a pharmacology student at King's College London, remains self-managed and actively involved in musical theatre at the university.
