Evan continues to win audiences with the skilfully controlled vulnerability of his intimate solo shows, and wows large venue crowds with the added punch of his full band, featuring Rocco Marche (The Paris Match) on guitar, Sahib Dhinsa (Nick Diver, Wez King) on bass and Albie Lucas (Human Interest) on drums. Evan has supported artists including Peter Doherty, The Libertines and Hak Baker. With his band, Evan played Tim Peakes Diner at Kendall Calling in 2023 and in November 2024, he supported The Libertines at NX Newcastle and three nights at the Albert Hall in Manchester, including a stunning set with his full band. Evan is constantly touring small venues around the country, solo or with the band. Two new singles are due for release on Strap Originals early in 2025 including the Western influenced live banger Ride On and the superbly antagonistic, dream inspired Kindred Sin. In April 2025 Evan releases his debut album The View from Halfway Down FIVE LINES - SW London’s finest are Five Lines. An eclectic mix of obnoxious guitars, piercing vocals and big choruses, all wrapped in an air of British nostalgia that seem to be hitting with both online and in person audiences. Having just come off their debut nationwide tour of the back of two singles (Semi Nude and See Red), the BBC Introducing backed band seem to be onto something here. Come see what all the fuss is about. MUTUAL BLUE - “Thinking of you, Love from your mutual blue”; was the inscription found pencilled on the back of a Curtis Mayfield record that started Mutual Blue.
Objecting to the heavy rock and punk bands plaguing their local scene Mutual Blue are bringing the focus back to what really matters to them; beautiful songs, cutting lyricism and a refreshing sincerity, all wrapped up in chorus drenched guitars.
Their debut releases EP “Wake Me Up Tomorrow” and single “Habit of Him” have achieved over 50,000 and 75,000 streams respectively and 2023’s live album “Can You Hear Me Now?” brought their raw, live sound to online audiences like no band in their first year together has. With their newest single “She Plays For Time” Mutual Blue are stepping into a new direction of their sound and identity as a band.
