Born from a passion for heavy music and nurtured in the sweatbox clubs of northern UK, DeadWax are a fierce, genre-bending force of nature and have gained a reputation for explosive engaging live shows, packed with furious energy and provoking lyrics which are instantly relatable.
Forming over 10 years ago the band bear a unique fusion, attributed to a wide musical palette of; metal, grime, hip-hop and dance music. The endearing bravado is brought about by frontman Jake Milburn, Solomon Price (bass), Henry Skinner (guitar) and Ben Millington (drums).
Strongroom Bar is an eclectic and colourful, independently-owned late-night bar and live music venue in Shoreditch, East London. It's known for being part of the legendary Strongroom recording studios and features a huge ivy-covered outdoor courtyard, often cited as Shoreditch's biggest beer garden. The venue, with a maximum capacity of 300 people, is a cultural hub that hosts a steady stream of local and emerging artists.
