"Inspired by the narcotised crawl of trip-hop and the nocturnal moods of slowcore, Broadsheets weave together layers of electronics loops and corroded guitars into haunting soundscapes equal parts visceral and atmospheric."
About the venue
The Croft is a lively late-night venue with exposed brick walls, cask beers, and regular music nights in the heart of Stokes Croft. It is a pub which provides a meeting place for people to drink, eat and socialise. The Croft regularly hosts local bands and DJs, as well as comedy and storytelling events. The venue has two separate live rooms. The main room has a capacity of 150. Formerly The Crofters' Rights, this iconic venue reopened in 2025 under its original name, following a campaign from the 'Own Our Venues' initiative. The lovingly revamped Croft will hold 140 sweaty gig-goers with a focus on live music - as well as carefully curated clubnights.
