The event will kick off with doors opening at 6:00 PM. From 6:15 to 7:15 PM, a curated screening of six independent short films will take place, including the first public showing of The Break (starring Alfred Enoch and Albie Marber). The other films showing include: Walking Fernando (Directed by Max Mix and Starring Javier Bardem), and The BIFA LongListed, Princess, by Two by Two Productions and writer/director Edem Kelman. Adapted from the Carol Churchill play comes Omri Dayan’s Seven Jewish Children, Lola Ridpath’s documentary film To The Dregs of the Bottomless Glass and Alex Ford’s short form CG animated work The Kiss. These films, by young emerging filmmakers– display some of London’s most exciting up-and coming talent and diverse storytelling. The delicately curated exhibition, (curated by an employee of London’s top art dealership), showcases work ranging from painting and sculpture, to mixed media - and is strictly limited and available for purchase. A live DJ, (Big Hands) will be spinning vinyl, adding an eclectic soundtrack to the evening. Food and drink is available - with Temaki Bros, out of Broadway Market, serving freshly prepared oysters and hand rolled sushi. As well as a bar and DJ area, the space boasts a scenic garden for picturesque smoking and thoughtful rumination.
