BENZIÊ—> Benziê are a Brazilian duo made up of Vic Conegero and Du Pessoa, based on the north coast of São Paulo. Their music is built on a deep connection to nature, lightness and authenticity, blending reggae, pop and Brazilian popular music (MPB).
Their story began in 2016 on a trip to Colombia, where they traded music for a place to stay. What started as a spontaneous experiment quickly became both their career and their way of life. Since then they have released an album and five EPs, and now reach well over half a million monthly listeners on Spotify.
In 2024 they launched the first part of their project 'Pelo mundo'. This October, Benziê embark on their first European tour as a duo, bringing their warm, soulful sound to audiences across the continent — with Camden's Jazz Cafe their only London date.
The Jazz Cafe is an acclaimed music venue in Camden Town, London, celebrated for its cozy atmosphere and diverse live performances. It showcases a wide array of genres, including jazz, hip hop, R&B, soul, funk, and reggae, and has a capacity of 450 people across its two floors. The venue also features a restaurant offering views of the stage.
