Amakathesiren writes songs like love spells ~ soft, sultry, and laced with longing. Blending her Nigerian roots with lush R&B and hypnotic soul, her sound feels like a slow burn you feel in your chest. With honeyed vocals and ethereal harmonies, she creates a world for the girls, gays, and theys ~ a dreamy, delicate ache you want to melt into.
Syd H is a Salford-based DJ who’s played out across some of Manchester’s best loved haunts. For this set, he plans on packing a USB loaded with electro boogie, freestyle, and regulation curveballs his mixes are fast becoming known for. Expect a love letter to Vice City soundscapes on the dancefloor, and come and get your groove on early doors.
Nigerian-Canadian artist mita is a student of emotions. The singer and writer delivers vulnerable vocals alongside candid lyricism to create a safe haven for exploring the sensitive and true. Her international background has fueled an exposure to diverse sonic influences, yielding a genre-bending versatility. Inspired primarily by Soul and R&B, she layers learnings from her encyclopedic musical experience to create a uniquely alternative sound.
Destiny K is a sparkly, eccentric pop singer-songwriter making heartfelt music for the hypersensitive girls. She writes about navigating the world as a neurodivergent person turning her thoughts into poetic lyrics and self-produced songs that feel both raw and relatable. Known for her quirky style and vibrant stage presence, Destiny pours her whole self into every performance, hoping to leave each listener feeling seen. Her sound blends theatrical pop with introspective lyrics, all wrapped in a fun, colourful aesthetic. It’s whimsical, it’s emotional, it’s a little weird.
