About Gotobeat
Gotobeat is an AI-native live entertainment company. We use data to forecast demand, we sell the tickets, and we run the events end to end. In 2026 we are on track to deliver 1,000+ shows across 16 countries and 500+ partner venues, which represents strong year-on-year growth. Today we work across live music, club nights and comedy. We grow quickly, and we look for experienced promoters who want to build something of their own inside that growth.
The role
We are hiring several full-time Senior Event Promoters to own and grow an individual market across Europe. The markets include, but are not limited to:
- Ireland
- Germany
- France
- Spain
- The Netherlands
- Belgium
- The Nordics (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland)
This role suits someone entrepreneurial: someone who already organises events in their market, who has ideas and relationships of their own, and who wants the structure, the technology, the operational support and the resources to take that further. You may promote independently or non-independently today, build your own network, or spot the opportunities that others overlook. We want to give you the platform to turn that into something bigger.
What you'll do
- Build your market. Identify emerging and established artists with strong live potential, and develop a clear identity and presence for Gotobeat in your market.
- Create opportunities. Spot the artists, the communities and the live concepts that traditional promoters underserve, and turn them into commercially viable events.
- Book shows. Source and negotiate deals with artists, agents, managers and labels from your market, across live music, club and comedy.
- Grow your network. Build long-term relationships with the people who shape your market: the agents, the managers, the labels, the media, the tastemakers and the independent promoters.
- Own your pipeline. Build a consistent flow of opportunities, and take responsibility for the long-term development of your market.
- Work with operations on venues. Our operations team owns the venue relationships. You start the shows with the artists from your market, and you stay involved for the full cycle.
- Track performance. Monitor the ticket sales against the forecast, identify underperformance early, and use what you learn to improve the next booking.
- Manage deal administration. Review the contracts for commercial and operational risk, and keep the booking and deal records accurate and current.
What we're looking for
- Substantial professional experience of promoting, booking or programming venues.
- An established network of artists, agents, managers, labels or other industry partners who are active in your market.
- A track record of booking and delivering successful live shows.
- Strong commercial understanding of guarantees, splits, all-in deals, settlements and event economics.
- Confidence with capacity, ticket sales and audience data, which you use for booking decisions beside your industry knowledge and your instinct.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A hands-on mindset, and the willingness to stay involved after the initial booking.
- Willingness to travel regularly across your market and Europe for shows and industry events.
- Fluency in English and in the local language of your market.
Most of all, we look for someone entrepreneurial: someone who wants to treat their market as a business that they build, and not as a territory that they service.
Nice to have
- Experience of booking shows across different genres.
- An existing network in the local country.
- Festival programming or festival booking experience.
What we offer
- Real ownership. Build and lead the presence of Gotobeat in your market, instead of the execution of someone else's booking strategy.
- A growing platform. Join a company on track to deliver 1,000+ shows across 16 countries in 2026, with significant room to expand your remit as the business grows.
- Data-driven booking tools. Access to the demand forecasting, the ticketing and the event-performance data of Gotobeat to support your decisions.
- Career progression. Opportunities to expand into larger tours, new markets, festivals and other areas of the business.
- Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
- A full-time position, with significant ownership of your booking pipeline and your market.
- We engage you as an employee or as a contractor, according to the country where you live.
Hiring process
- Intro chat (30 min): your market, the role and whether we make sense to each other.
- Market deep dive (60 min): you walk us through a show you booked and delivered, then you pitch the three acts you would book in your market next quarter and why.
- Founders' chat (30 min): vision, values and any remaining questions.
Total time from first call to offer: about two weeks.
