Zo Lief is a Dutch/British psychedelic dream pop duo comprised of musical and romantic partners Laura Chen (vocals, guitar) and James Attwood (multi-instrumentalist), whose name means "so sweet" in Dutch. Their sound blends chamber pop, garage rock, and '90s shoegaze, drawing influences from artists such as Lana Del Rey, Arctic Monkeys, and Men I Trust, creating cinematic songs with poetic, introspective, and playful lyrics. Their latest endeavors include the release of their sophomore EP, "Hypnosis," on March 28, 2025, via LAB Music. This EP features singles such as "Pinch Me" (released September 13, 2024), "You (A Burden)" (released November 29, 2024), and "Stop The Party" (released February 7, 2025). Zo Lief has also been actively touring across the UK and Europe and recently headlined Hare & Hounds with their dreamy psychedelic flair on September 25, 2025. They also performed live at 3voor12 Radio, showcasing "Pinch Me", "You (A Burden)", and "She Makes You Look Twice". Their debut EP, "Believe What You Believe," was released in 2023.
