Ziferblat is a Ukrainian art rock band formed in Kyiv in 2015, consisting of twin brothers Danyil Leshchynskyi (vocals, piano) and Valentyn Leshchynskyi (guitar, backing vocals), and drummer Fedir Khodakov. Their eclectic musical style blends elements of art rock, progressive pop, and electronic music, often incorporating influences from 70s and 80s alternative pop and rock. The band gained international attention after representing Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with their song "Bird of Pray," where they placed 9th in the Grand Final. In recent endeavors, Ziferblat released their English-speaking album "Of Us" on May 2, 2025. They are actively involved in supporting Ukraine, having raised ₴2 million to purchase "ZMIY" robotic demining machines and aiming for ₴4 million for four such systems to aid humanitarian demining efforts. The band also experienced a drone strike near their train in Dnipro on November 17, 2025, while returning from a concert, though they were uninjured. Earlier in May 2025, the home of their backing singer, Khrystyna Starykova, was destroyed by Russian shelling during their time at Eurovision. Their music has also been featured in the video game series S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. In 2023, Ziferblat won the "Best New Names in Alternative Music" award at the Muzvar Awards and were nominated for several prestigious Ukrainian awards in 2024, including the YUNA Awards and Megogo Music Awards.
