YOWL is a South London-based five-piece band formed in 2016, consisting of Gabriel Byrde (vocals), Ivor Manley (guitar), Mike Wride (guitar), Billy Morris (bass), and Tom Flynn (drums). Known for their menacing indie sound, they blend intense proto-punk with swooning balladry, capturing the frustration of the 9-to-5 London grind. Their music, characterized as slightly unbalanced guitar music, bridges the gap between crooning and screaming. In recent news, YOWL released their debut album 'Milksick' on September 14th. The album is described as a collection of outlandish cautionary tales and uneasy odes to imaginary characters.
