About Ying Yang Monks

The Ying Yang Monks project was born in 2010 after Curro and Jorge (aka Dj Chimbo and AcidBox) worked in the organization of psychedelic gatherings (Fullmoongui) and decided to join forces to create a musical project that would allow them to create their own sounds based on the musical style they both passionate about: the Morning Psychedelic Trance. That same year, after editing several tracks in Psylove and BMSS Records, they become part of the roast of the newborn label Maharetta Records where they will present their first EP "Alice" and define their personal acid style, with small touches to Goa, balancing the atmospheric parts with the energetic ones, creating their own Yin Yang sound. From then onwards, they began to publish on labels such as Antu Records, Mosaico, Free Spirit or Zero Gravity among others and that will serve as a bridge for them to perform in gatherings and festivals both inside and outside Spain.
