About Wolf Parade

Indie rock

Wolf Parade is a Canadian indie rock band that formed in Montreal in 2003, known for their unique sound often characterized by two keyboards and their ability to blend electro-pop intuitions with a post-pop approach. The band's current lineup includes Spencer Krug (vocals, keyboards), Dan Boeckner (vocals, guitar), Arlen Thompson (drums), and Hadji Bakara (synthesizers). They gained critical acclaim with their debut album, *Apologies to the Queen Mary*, released in 2005 on Sub Pop Records. In recent news, Wolf Parade's 2005 song "I'll Believe in Anything" experienced a significant viral resurgence in December 2025 due to its prominent feature in the Crave/HBO sports romance series *Heated Rivalry*. The song's use in a pivotal scene led to a reported 2658% increase in Spotify streams by December 27, 2025. Capitalizing on this renewed interest, Sub Pop and Wolf Parade are reissuing *Apologies to the Queen Mary* on pink vinyl in 2026. The band's most recent studio album, *Thin Mind*, was released on January 24, 2020. Wolf Parade has also confirmed a handful of Canadian shows for 2026. Additionally, Dan Boeckner released his self-titled debut solo album, *Boeckner!*, on March 15, 2024, and is embarking on an international tour.
