About Water From Your Eyes

Water From Your Eyes is an American band originally formed in Chicago, Illinois, and now based in Brooklyn, New York, consisting of vocalist Rachel Brown and multi-instrumentalist Nate Amos, who are joined by Al Nardo and Bailey Wollowitz for live performances. Their musical style is broad and defies easy categorization, incorporating elements of alt pop, art rock, post-punk, experimental pop, bedroom pop, synth-pop, shoegaze, indie pop, experimental rock, and dance-punk, sometimes described as "collagist pop". The duo signed with Matador Records in 2023 and released their acclaimed album *Everyone's Crushed* that May, followed by a remix album *Crushed by Everyone* in November 2023. Their latest album, *It's a Beautiful Place*, was released on August 22, 2025, preceded by the single "Life Signs," with a music video directed by Rachel Brown. In December 2025, they released the companion EP *It's Beautiful*, featuring alternate versions of tracks from the album. Water From Your Eyes supported *It's a Beautiful Place* with extensive headline tours across North America and Europe in late 2025. They also performed as the opening act for Interpol at Mexico City's Zócalo in April 2024, playing to a crowd of approximately 160,000.
