About Waeys

Waeys is a Dutch drum and bass, liquid funk, and jungle artist known for his deft technical touch and ability to move a crowd. He blends clean and techy modern drum styles with soulful liquid tunes, and isn't afraid to incorporate heavier sounds. Emerging on the scene in 2019, Waeys quickly made a significant impact, winning "Best Newcomer" at the D&BA Awards in 2020, the same year his track "Framed" with Klinical topped charts. He has released music on prominent labels such as Critical Music, Overview, Shogun, Delta9, DIVIDID, and Skankandbass. His debut mini-album, "Repetition LP," was released in 2023, showcasing a more melodic side to his musicality. In 2024 and 2025, Waeys has continued to be active with a string of singles, including "Stopping Turning / Blink & Miss (feat. Duskee)," "Your Type / Steady Aim," "Doggy Marriage," "Arrivata," "If Not Me / Backhanded Wobbler," "Bad Boy Horns," "Twerp," and "Objection (Molecular Remix)".
