Vincent Davis is an internationally acclaimed jazz percussionist, composer, and teacher born in Chicago. Growing up surrounded by rock, jazz, and gospel, he honed his drumming skills at the Milwaukee Conservatory of Music under Manty Ellis, focusing on Jazz trap drumming. Since 1985, he has been part of Roscoe Mitchell's Note Factory and toured extensively, performing at international festivals. He also founded the ensemble Laws of Motion.
