Vincent Davies is a hidden gem of the UK's guitar music scene who has been active since 2013, known for his diverse musical journey spanning garage rock, punk, and Rasta blues. He first gained recognition fronting the garage rock band Hidden Charms from 2013-2017 and later played lead-bass for YAK between 2017-2019, with whom he recorded with Jack White's Third Man Records and supported acts like Foals and The Raconteurs. After a career pause, Davies formed ties with the UK Drill scene and collaborated with Brixton-based producer Big Bubbs. From 2022-2023, he released singles with the punk band The Magdalanes and performed alongside artists such as Glen Matlock. In 2024, Davies returned with a new, Rastafari-inspired message questioning the state of the world. His recent solo endeavors include the release of his first solo effort, "Days Like These," on November 15th, 2025, a track described as a haunting, post-apocalyptic romp, and the atmospheric Rasta blues single "We Don't Have Long." Other recent singles from 2025 include "Light," "Good Life," and "Stepping Out." His music blends elements from rocksteady to garage soul, creating a unique sonic vision, with releases through his independent label, Church Street Records.
