Victor Ray is a Ugandan-born, London-based singer-songwriter known for his powerful, soul-rooted sound that blends contemporary pop, R&B, and folk elements with narrative songwriting. He initially gained a significant following through busking and his presence on TikTok, leading to his commercial debut in 2022 with "Hollow". His discography includes the EPs *I Was* (2023), *I Felt* (2023), *I Tried* (2024), and *I Will* (2025). Victor Ray signed with Decca Records in the UK and Capitol Records in the US in 2024. Notable singles like "Comfortable" (2024) and "Stay for a While" (2023) have achieved millions of streams. In recent endeavors, Victor Ray was named a Spotify RADAR artist for 2026. He released the single "Hearts Break and People Change" in January 2025, from his EP *I WILL.* which was scheduled for release on March 7, 2025. He also unveiled the new single "Contagious" on September 29, 2025, as the first in a trilogy of releases planned to precede his highly anticipated debut album. Throughout 2025, he sold out venues in the US and Australia, attended Paris Fashion Week, and performed for 3.6 million people at the VE Day 80th-anniversary celebrations.
