Veeze, born Karon Malcolm Vantrees, is a Detroit-based rapper and singer known for his distinctive style within the hip-hop genre, often incorporating elements of trap and pop rap. His music is characterized by frequent, energetic flows, cognizant tones, and a "mutter-croak" style, delivered with a "wild and nonchalant" approach. He is recognized for his understated vocals and breathy ad-libs, contributing to a lazy, smooth, and intoxicating flow that distinguishes him in the Michigan rap scene. After releasing his debut mixtape "Navy Wavy" in 2019, Veeze gained significant traction with his 2023 single "GOMD," which went viral and featured a remix with Lil Uzi Vert. His critically acclaimed debut studio album, "Ganger," was released in June 2023, reaching number 97 on the Billboard 200, followed by a deluxe edition in October 2023. In September 2023, Veeze launched his own record label, Navy Wavy, in partnership with Warner Records. His 2024 collaboration with Lil Yachty, "Sorry Not Sorry," marked his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100. Most recently, Veeze unveiled his new 11-track mixtape, 'Y'all Won,' on May 22, 2026, which includes the focus track 'Wrong Place, Wrong Time' and features collaborations with artists like Playboi Carti, Lil Baby, Rylo Rodriguez, and Lil Yachty.
