Traumer, whose real name is Romain Reynaud, is a French electronic music artist known for his intricate and groovy productions spanning minimal techno, dub techno, tech house, and minimalism. His sound evolved around 2016 from earlier straight techno to a more hypnotic and subtle style, often associated with the minimal rhythms emerging from Bucharest. He operates several aliases, including Jinger, a softer musical project launched in early 2021, and has also released under names like Roman Poncet and Sergie Rezza. Traumer is the founder of the Gettraum label, a platform for his distinctive minimal-leaning productions, and also launched the Tatum label in early 2021. His recent endeavors include the release of the track "We Do" on his Gettraum label in May 2024. He also has a series of upcoming DJ performances scheduled for late 2025, with appearances in Azerbaijan, Kosovo, Amsterdam, Zagreb, New York City, Miami, and Porto in October and November.
