After serving a prison sentence for illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, he was released in March 2023. Following his release, Tommy Lee Sparta quickly returned to performing, notably at Reggae Sumfest 2023, and announced "The Freedom Tour" for Africa and Europe. His recent endeavors include the release of new music, with singles such as "Active (Energy Up)" in October 2024, "Outside Brawling" in December 2025, and "Determination," "Dark Place," and "My Life" in early 2026. He also announced his debut album, "Transition," slated for release in November 2025, featuring collaborations with artists like Skillibeng and Chronic Law. In October 2023, he addressed and denied rumors of his involvement in gang violence, emphasizing his commitment to rebuilding his life and focusing on music.
