TOGENASHI TOGEARI is a five-member Japanese rock band that serves as the central band for the "Girls Band Cry" anime franchise, where its members also voice the main characters. Formed through a girls' rock audition, the band quickly gained recognition as a "monster rookie" after its debut in 2024, with multiple songs charting on Spotify's Viral Charts. The group consists of vocalist and guitarist Rina (as Nina Iseri), guitarist Yuri (as Momoka Kawaragi), drummer Mirei (as Subaru Awa), keyboardist Natsu (as Tomo Ebizuka), and bassist Shuri (as Rupa). Their music, produced by Kenji Tamai, is characterized by emotional performances and often features lyrics with a somewhat negative or introspective tone, despite being delivered with energetic melodies. In terms of recent endeavors, TOGENASHI TOGEARI has been very active. They held a solo concert at the iconic Nippon Budokan in September 2025. They recently concluded their first solo concert in South Korea in April 2026, which saw an immediate sell-out and an added performance due to high demand. The band is also scheduled to embark on a Southeast Asian tour in August 2026, with performances in Bangkok, Jakarta, and Singapore as part of their "Rinne no Kotowari" tour. It has been noted that Mirei and Natsu are currently on hiatus and will not be performing on the Southeast Asia Tour. The "Girls Band Cry" franchise continues to expand with a brand-new anime film and a rhythm game currently in production, in addition to compilation films released in 2025. They also have a Zepp arena tour, titled "Pulsating Future," confirmed for 2026.
