The Sways are an indie trio from northern Arizona, composed of Kyle Miller, Andrew Tyler, and Adam Bruce. They craft a sound that blends the intimacy of '70s folk-rock with a modern, atmospheric sheen, often characterized by rich acoustic textures, heartfelt vocals, and haunting harmonies. The band writes, performs, and produces all of their music themselves. Their latest endeavors include the release of their self-titled debut EP, "The Sways," on September 19, 2025, which features five songs. This EP followed singles such as "I Have Been the Moon," which garnered over 700,000 streams, "Someday We Will Dream About Today," and "Feels Like Deja Vu." The EP has been described as a melodious reflection on themes of existentialism, whimsy, and empathy, with lush instrumentation and powerful lyricism.
