The Silent Era is a London-based four-piece alternative rock band composed of Bri Macanas (vocals), Chris Schwarten (guitar), Nicolas Zappa (bass), and Jo Eiffes (drums), formed in the summer of 2021. They masterfully blend influences from shoegaze, industrial, goth rock, and post-punk, creating heavy, dreamy soundscapes with introspective lyrics that explore the darker aspects of human nature. The band kicked off 2024 with the compelling new track "Heaven//Hell" and is committed to releasing more material throughout the year. Their debut album, "Wide And Deep And Cold," is slated for release on November 1, 2024, via M&O Music, and promises to explore a diverse range of rock subgenres including industrial, psychedelic, coldwave, and even doom.
