The Rosecaps live history
The Rosecaps are a homegrown Galway-based indie rock band who have sold out every headline show to date - from Whelan’s to Dolans Warehouse. Landing support slots for Amble, Kingfishr, Gavin James, The Academic, The Coronas and many more household names across Ireland, UK, and Europe, it’s no wonder they’ve been tipped by The Irish Times as one of the most promising up and coming Irish acts of late. Their live shows are packed with energetic riffs, infectious melodies and an even bigger selection of unreleased tracks that crowds can’t get enough of. Their discography is as vast as it is varied, with the band proving time and time again that they can cross genres comfortably and at their own pace, with fans eager to hear their next move. The Rosecaps are currently undertaking their most ambitious creative project to date: the release of 3 EPs in 3 months - each based on a separate genre of music. Folk, Rock, and Pop. Of the 12 tracks that are set to release, some are old ballads that were once thought not to fit the “typical sound,” while others are brand new headbangers packed with attitude and slightly too long guitar solos. Most importantly, each track belongs in The Rosecaps discography. This is the band at their most experimental, most genuine, and most excited.
