About The Mayries

The Mayries Matilda Ekevik and Sofi Lindblom are the voices behind The Mayries – a Stockholm-based duo known for their distinctive harmonies and warm acoustic sound. Lifelong friends and collaborators, the duo began releasing cover songs in early 2017, quickly gaining widespread recognition. Their heartfelt interpretations have resonated with listeners across the globe, amassing over 700 million streams on Spotify. In September 2019, The Mayries released their debut EP Nashville Sessions, a collection of original songs written during a songwriting trip to Nashville earlier that year ( Tommy Lee James, Robby Hecht, Mary Bragg among others). Since then, they have continued to craft and release original music alongside their beloved covers. Beyond the studio, The Mayries have brought their intimate live sound to weddings, private events, and special performances throughout the years.
