The Jacksons are an iconic American pop band formed in Gary, Indiana, known for their influential sound spanning disco, Motown, Philly soul, R&B, and funk. Originating as The Jackson 5, the group, featuring brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, became one of the first African American acts to achieve widespread multi-genre success. Following the passing of Tito Jackson in September 2024, remaining active members Jackie and Marlon Jackson are planning a music comeback, with a new studio album as The Jacksons expected soon—their first since 1989. They are also commemorating the band's 50th anniversary with a tribute tour that honors Tito Jackson, with upcoming concert dates scheduled in the US and Europe throughout May 2026.
