About The Family Rain

The Family Rain are an English blues rock band from Bath, formed in 2011 by brothers William, Ollie, and Timothy Walter. They are recognized for their raw, energetic blues and garage rock sound, characterized by heavy guitar riffs, pounding drums, and gritty lyrical narratives, often drawing comparisons to bands like the White Stripes and early Kings of Leon. After releasing their debut album "Under the Volcano" in 2014, the band initially split in 2016. However, they announced their return in November 2019 and have since been actively releasing new music, including their sophomore album "Indulgence" in 2024. This album, described as full of gritty rock songs with strong guitar riffs and a bold attitude, was supported by an 11-stop UK tour in spring 2024. Recent single releases include "Hit the Ground Running" (2024), "My Other Car Is a Tiger" (2023), "Machete Western" (2023), and "Gasoline" (2023).
