The Blue Herons create wistful dreampop with a cinematic sense of space and emotion—songs that unfold like film scenes lit by jangling guitars. Drifting between sparkling jangle pop, atmospheric dreampop, and hazy jangle gaze, their music balances clarity and depth: chiming Rickenbackers softened by shoegaze textures. Since coming together as a duo in 2020, the transatlantic pair of Andy Jossi (Switzerland) and Gretchen DeVault (United States) have crafted a distinct, heartfelt sound where Jossi’s glimmering guitars and intricate arrangements complement DeVault’s radiant vocals and effortlessly catchy melodies.
