TÄRA (born Tamara Al Zool) is a Palestinian-Italian singer-songwriter who blends contemporary R&B with Arab sounds, a style she terms "Arab'n'B." Her music often incorporates deep basslines, Arabic melodic scales, and visual storytelling, addressing themes of social justice, mental health, and personal development. A multilingual artist, she performs in Italian, English, and Arabic, frequently featuring traditional Palestinian attire and cultural elements in her stage presence. TÄRA began releasing music on SoundCloud in 2022 and gained prominence in 2024 by participating in Spotify's Equal project, promoting female artists. In 2024, she was a finalist for the May Day Concert in Rome and competed in the eighteenth edition of X Factor Italia, where her audition garnered millions of views. Her increasing popularity was further boosted in 2025 by her single "Araba fenice" ("Arab Phoenix"), which led to an eponymous tour and appearances at several music festivals across Italy. Most recently, in October 2025, her song "Mezzaluna" was shortlisted for Sanremo Giovani, a selection event for the Sanremo Music Festival 2026, and was subsequently released in January 2026 as the lead single from her upcoming debut album.
