Swiss Portrait is the dream pop project of Edinburgh-based artist Michael Kay Terence. Known for a DIY approach, he writes, plays, and produces his music independently. His sound blends dream-pop and indie elements, creating a laid-back and chilled atmosphere with light, airy vocals. The music often explores personal experiences and feelings, offering vulnerability and relatability. In 2023, Swiss Portrait released his second studio album, "The Crippling Pain of Happiness," following his 2021 release, "Familiar Patterns". In July 2024, Swiss Portrait released his new single “Photobooth” alongside a music video.
