About Swindled

Swindled is an indie pop five-piece band from Sunderland, UK, known for their jangly guitars, acoustic elements, and catchy songwriting. Their sound is influenced by a diverse range of artists including Nirvana, the Sex Pistols, The 1975, Ed Sheeran, The Beatles, The Courteeners, Jake Bugg, Gerry Cinnamon, and drumming styles reminiscent of Dave Grohl, John Bonham, and Ringo Starr, with bass playing inspired by Flea. The band released their latest EP, "Leave The Big Light On," on May 3, 2024. They are also set to release another new EP titled "What A Nightmare!" on September 12, 2025. In their recent endeavors, Swindled was featured on the "Off The Stage Podcast" in April 2024 and headlined a show at Pop Recs in October 2025.
