Svetlin Roussev

About the artist

Svetlin Roussev is a highly acclaimed Bulgarian violinist known for his virtuosity and intensity in chamber music and as a soloist with major orchestras worldwide. He is a professor at the Haute École de Musique in Geneva and gives masterclasses globally. Recent news includes a performance in Sofia on a 300-year-old Stradivarius violin in January 2025, and in March 2025, Roussev expressed his desire to live in Bulgaria. He was also the artistic director and artist in residence of the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra.
