Sunnbrella, the project of Prague-born, London-based musician and producer David Zbirka, crafts atmospheric soundscapes blending dream pop, shoegaze, and elements of vaporwave. Evolving from lo-fi bedroom pop beginnings, Sunnbrella's sound has expanded to incorporate punchier, more refined, and ethereal elements, drawing influences from hyperpop, industrial, and rave music. Sunnbrella's latest endeavor is the album *Gutter Angel*, released on April 18, 2025, which marks a turn into darker, almost gothic territory. Recent singles from 2025 include "omnimori," "Nothing Forever," "tuff," and "flowstate." Previously, Sunnbrella released the debut album *Heartworn* in February 2023, which received critical acclaim. The artist has a series of upcoming performances in October and November 2025, with dates in Vienna, Budapest, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester, and Prague. In 2024, Sunnbrella supported Beach Fossils on their UK tour and appeared at festivals such as ESNS and SXSW in 2025.
