Sunflower Thieves is a Leeds-based indie folk-pop duo comprised of childhood friends Amy Illingworth and Lily Sturt-Bolshaw, known for their ethereal vocal harmonies, honest lyrics, and a sound described as a "soulful sisterhood". Their music, often touching on themes of friendship, loss, and personal growth, creates an intimate and comforting atmosphere. The duo released their sophomore EP, "Same Blood," in 2024, which features the lead single "How Was America" released in July 2024. Their latest single, "Overdose," is also currently available. In September 2024, Sunflower Thieves embarked on their debut headline UK tour with sold-out shows in London and Leeds. As of October 2025, they have an upcoming show scheduled for October 30 at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds.
