Subsonica is an influential Italian band formed in Turin in 1996, recognized for their eclectic fusion of dance, electronica, alternative rock, and pop/rock, successfully integrating electronic music into the mainstream Italian scene. Their sound is characterized by a dynamic blend of electronic beats, rock elements, synth-driven textures, and multi-layered vocals. The band members are Samuel Umberto Romano, Massimiliano Casacci, Davide Dileo, Enrico Matta, and Luca Vicini. In recent news, Subsonica released their latest studio album, "Realtà Aumentata", in 2024, followed by "Terre rare" in early 2026. They are currently celebrating their 30th anniversary with the "Terre Rare 96-26 Tour 2026", which includes numerous dates across Italy in July and August 2026. This tour follows four sold-out "Cieli Su Torino 96-26" concerts in Turin and a photo exhibition in March 2026, all part of their anniversary celebrations. The band also won a David di Donatello award in 2024.
