Stratovarius is a pioneering Finnish power metal band formed in 1984 that has become a cornerstone of melodic, speed, and symphonic metal, recognized for their neoclassical speed, intricate keyboard-guitar duels, and soaring operatic vocals led by longtime frontman Timo Kotipelto. Following active touring cycles and festival appearances, the band has been in the studio working on new material for their upcoming nineteenth studio album, aiming for a release soon while continuing to tour globally.
