Sizzy Rocket became the sneering face of 21st century underground sapphic punk thanks to her viral 2016 debut, the electroclash seducer, Bestie. Freshly independent during summer 2019, Rocket self-released her sophomore album, Grrrl , and self-booked a sold out US tour. Like a true rebel, Rocket accompanied her third studio album, ANARCHY (2020), with subversive visuals during the global lockdown. Breaking the internet with her viral voyeuristic sex-tape music video for single, Smells Like Sex, she received an award from Playboy and was exhibited at Art Basel in 2021. She also brought fans and friends together for a unique virtual performance art experience, live from an abandoned theme park. Rocket switched gears on her subsequent EP, the indie sleaze-inspired RAT (2023), as she found herself making electro-charged dance anthems for the underdogs, inspired by wild nights out at iconic clubs in Los Angeles. In addition to being a critically acclaimed recording artist and an underground LGBTQIA+ icon for the past decade, Rocket’s playfully corruptive influence is most evident on songs she’s penned for IT girls from Noah Cyrus to Heidi Montag to Uffie. She’s also toured nationwide with the likes of PVRIS, Pale Waves, Alice Glass, and Lauren Sanderson. Now, as she finishes up her fourth studio album in her hometown of Las Vegas while building an army of rabid riot grrrls, it’s clear that Rocket is a force to be reckoned with - and she’s just getting started.
