Silverbacks are a band from Ireland. Their debut album, Fad (2020), instantly grabbed attention with its angular guitar work, offbeat lyrics and and infectious melodies earned praise from BBC 6 Music, NME, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, and more, drawing comparisons to bands like Pavement, Parquet Courts and Television. In 2022, Silverbacks followed up with Archive Material, a record that refined their sound and solidified their place in the indie scene, garnering further acclaim. Tours across Ireland, UK, Europe and a first visit to the US followed. With their third album, Easy Being A Winner (October, 2024), Silverbacks continue to experiment with new textures and sounds while maintaining their signature playful and unpredictable style.
