SILICONE VALLEY live history: electroclash • witch house
Silicone Valley, the project of Brooklyn-based musician and performer Clayman A., began in Southwest Florida and is tied to a moment of upheaval. In 2017, a boating accident and electrical fire during Hurricane Irma left him disfigured and bedridden for a year. While recovering, he taught himself music theory and composition, developing “acoustic-electronics” - a meticulous blend of analog synthesizers and acoustic instruments. The project is both critique and celebration of the life behind it, a self-documenting autobiography.
