About Shawn Cartier

Shawn Cartier started his journey into electronic music putting on parties in Newcastle, UK as part of the Quest 808 crew. For years he DJ'd and played Live sets with friend and artist @Dufraine around Newcastle. This pushed Shawn to release his own music. During 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic, unable to continue putting on parties, he took this time away from events to focus on music and in this time he released 3 EPs, including his popular Parking Lot EP on Carouse Records which received love from respected names such as Darwin and Solid Blake, and over 15 individual releases over the year which received similar love on the airways. 2021 is looking very bright for Shawn Cartier. With a string of vinyl releases planned he is definitely one to watch this year.
