Secretsundaze is a renowned London-based electronic music entity, originally formed as a DJ duo by James Priestley and Giles Smith in 2002, and recognized for its influential parties, record label, and a sound deeply rooted in house music, including elements of acid house. After 21 years, the founding duo parted ways in May 2023, with James Priestley taking full creative control and direction of Secretsundaze, while Giles Smith embarked on solo projects. Priestley continues to lead Secretsundaze, focusing on productions, collaborations, and helming the Spirit of Sundaze Ensemble, which is both a label and a party series that reimagines foundational electronic records live. Recent endeavors include the return of their London day festival, Multi Multi, scheduled for July 2025 across multiple Hackney Wick venues, showcasing a diverse range of electronic music. Secretsundaze also celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2022 with a year-long party series and a documentary titled "Hearts Not Hype".
