Scenes We Have Missed

About the artist

Scenes We Have Missed is a band formed by a group of friends who grew up together and started playing the music they enjoyed as teenagers in 2015. Later, they became a full band in December 2016. Their music aims to challenge the feelings and social masks that are increasingly being ignored and are slowly becoming part of daily life. The band quickly gained popularity in Turkey's underground music scene with their debut EP, Broken but Blessed, thanks to their heartfelt, sincere, and subversive stance. In 2019, they released another album titled State of Dreaming. To promote the album, they toured not only Turkey but also Ukraine, headlining the Kharkiv Hardcore Festival. With the release of more singles and contributions to various tribute albums and split records, SWHM developed a sound they describe as "emotive," which harmoniously blends multiple genres. Scenes We Have Missed continues to explore and express different timbres by mixing post-rock, post-punk, screamo, and modern metal in their latest release, Pattern Recollection.
