søftbleach is an emerging UK-based indie alternative-pop trio, formed in late 2024, known for their upbeat, nostalgic sonic style and atmospheric live performances. The band consists of Darla Jade on lead vocals and songwriting, multi-instrumentalist and producer Dustin Dooley, and drummer Jan Simson. Their sound blends dreamy synths, staccato funk guitars, and catchy alt-pop dynamics, creating a polished yet edgy and often melancholic, melodic soundscape. The trio released their debut single "Fortress" in May 2025, followed by their debut EP "Neverland" in late 2025, and subsequent singles such as "Ego Boost" in November 2025. More recently, søftbleach released "fight or flight" in February/March 2026 and "rollercoaster" in April 2026. They have toured across the UK, including dates in London, and their music has been featured on television shows like Love Island. The band has been performing at events such as Party on the Pitch Stoke-on-Trent in May 2026 and is gaining a reputation with major label interest reportedly brewing.
